So on Saturday, two of the villages we saw were Kawra (pig raising) villages, which are some of the very poorest. The third one is much better off as they receive good money for the cricket bats they make. Here you go...
This woman really wanted Jason to take a picture of her house. She was proud of it I guess.
Livelihood in a pen.
You can't not love the children here!!
One of the group discussions we had with the villagers.
This man is making a cricket bat in another village.
This is the finished product. He sells it in the market for 99 Taka (about $1.50) and he can make about 10 per day. Not bad at all. That village is much better off.
Their "swimming pool"
Fantastic pictures Jason and Jamie- thanks for providing us a window where we can see remarkable people and places. The worth of every soul is great! We are proud of you. Love, Alaska Fam
